Background Information[]

Espio the Chameleon made his first appearence in 1995's Knuckles' Chaotix. He is an anthropomorphic chameleon, who mainly serves as an intelligent ninja warrior and a member of the Chaotix Detective Agency. He is a master of Ninjitsu and the most calm, mature and level-headed member of the Chaotix Agency.

Fun Fact: Espio's name may be derived from the word "espionage".
