Gum is a Green Beyondering Hero from the Jet Set Radio franchise. She is classified as a Rare Barrage Hero, and can be looted from Stage 29 in the Campaign, as well as Stage 24, 87 and 118. Gum was added to SEGA Heroes on October 15th, 2018, alongside DJ Professor K.
Background Information[]
Gum made her first appearance as a main character and the deuteragonist in Jet Set Radio in the year 2000, and later returned for Jet Set Radio Future and in the SEGA Superstars franchise. She, alongside Tab, is an original member of the GG's and gangster in both Jet Set Radio, and Jet Set Radio Future, and helps Beat join their team. She is a self-determined criminal and punk who ran away from home to express her creativity and art skills, just like Beat. She is a close friend and ally of Beat and Professor K, and enemy of Tokyo-To and its Police Force and its captain, Onishima.
Fun Fact: Gum appears in the videogame Skullgirls and has an alternate color palette for Squigly.
Fun Fact: Gum is a recurring character in the SEGA Superstars franchise, and is one of the two main playable characters in the series, alongside Beat.
Fun Fact: Gum has had a history of āleaving a trail of broken heartsā, suggesting that she has had a rough past. Compared to other Jet Set Radio characters, Gum is one of the few main characters to have a piece of their past revealed in-game.
